The Story
Most blocks are built from three bonded parts. This one is milled from a single copper billet, so the heat path from the die to the coolant never crosses a solder layer. The 42 fins are cut into the same piece — 0.3 mm each, held to ±0.02 mm — because a fin field that stays true under pressure moves heat faster than one that bows. Flat, straight, repeatable.Coverage is where a block is judged next: the 62 x 62 mm plate spreads contact pressure across the full IHS on LGA 1700, LGA 1851 and AM5 alike, and the nickel-plated brass ports hold their torque after repeated fitting changes. Every unit finishes on the bench — 1.5 bar for 30 minutes, then a visual pass under light. If the gauge moves, the block never ships.

// THE FORGE LOG
- 11 JUN 2026 MACHINING copper billet cut down to the cold plate blank, 42 fins verified
- 17 JUN 2026 ASSEMBLY acrylic top seated on its gasket, ports torqued to 2.5 Nm

// PROVENANCE
Machined and assembled in the CGP workshop in Riyadh, on the same bench that finishes our CGP Forge radiators. Every block carries a serial etch and a signed test record, and the warranty card travels in the box. Inspection is manual at every stage, with no exceptions.
