A loop fails at its joints far more often than at its blocks, and most of those failures trace back to an O-ring seated by feel. The CGP Forge fitting removes the guesswork: two EPDM rings sit in machined grooves, one under the collar and one at the port face, so the seal holds whether pressure arrives from the line or the thread. The collar threads down by hand before it takes torque, keeping the tube square instead of biting into it.Every fitting is turned from nickel-plated brass and held at 5 bar for fifteen minutes before it is bagged, several times the working pressure of a normal loop. Threads are gauge-checked to G1/4 BSPP, and the six fittings in a set are matched so no single collar asks for more torque than its neighbours. If one unit drops pressure, the whole set is scrapped rather than sorted.
